We had our Wedding reception here and it was absolutely perfect! The food was AMAZING, the atmosphere was so beautiful and elegant, and the staff was on point. Our experience at the Smoke Rise Village Inn for our wedding ceremony and reception was nothing less than perfect! From the planning with Kelly, the Catering Manager, to the pampering from our server, Gloria, it was a phenomenal event! Throughout the planning of our wedding, Kelly communicated often and answered all of our questions, timely and professionally. When we had to hold the ceremony inside because of the weather, she made it just right. The Inn is elegant and beautiful, and there were wonderful spots outside to take photos. The Filet Mignon was the best I’ve ever had, and we also received rave reviews about the Salmon and Crab Cake entrees as well. We could not be happier with our choice! Kelly and the staff of Smoke Rise Village Inn deserve all the recognition there is to offer for their incredible work ethic, professionalism, and the presentation they provided for our wedding. My husband and I went to over a half dozen venues, and at the last minute my mom suggested we go check out Smoke Rise Club. From the moment we met Kelly, it was an instant fit – I immediately felt like an individual bride, not just another couple, and I even felt like I was dealing with a friend. Kelly was prompt, organized and also flexible as my husband and I live in PA, but came back to my hometown to get married.

When I felt stressed, she reassured me that we were on track. I could not have dreamt of a better person to work with for a day that truly did turn out to be one of the happiest days of my life. We continue to get compliments about our wedding, (even 3 months later) the venue, its food, the overall presentation – Kelly brought all my ideas to life and even added some special touches of her own. The staff throughout the evening were incredible – cheerful, kind and on the ball when it came to cocktail hour, drink service and dinner hour. I could not believe how seamlessly they worked. I feel that I lived every moment of my wedding and that’s all thanks to Kelly and her Team – they allowed me to be a bride and enjoy every second with my groom, family and closest friends. I had my wedding at the Smoke Rise Village Inn this past November, 2023. To say it was more than I ever dreamed of would be an understatement. From the moment I arrived at Smoke Rise, I knew it was where I wanted to have my wedding. The grounds and ballroom are beautiful and having our own private patio area was perfect. The stone work and beautiful courtyard gives the entire venue a warm, cozy feel.
The Catering Sales Manager, Kelly was exceptional to work with! She answered every email and phone call promptly and worked within our budget to make sure we were able to get what we wanted. The food was delicious and the servers and bartenders were so friendly and helpful. Kelly was on site and fully involved the day of my wedding, making sure we were happy and well taken care of. The private stone patio was perfect and gave our guests and ourselves a space to grab some fresh air and enjoy the beautiful night. From the ceremony to our sparkler “exit”, I could not have asked for a more perfect day!

We visited the Smoke Rise Club for the first time about 10 months prior to our wedding date at which time we were introduced to Kelly the Catering Sales manager. We immediately fell in love with the Club’s “rustic” stone decor, amazing food, and of course their friendly, attentive staff. Kelly worked with our budget and come up with something that would work for everyone. We asked if we needed to hire a day-of-coordinator for set up and day of details but Kelly was on it, making sure even the smallest of details were handled. We were given exclusive access to the venue the day of and Kelly was there with us for whatever we needed. Everything was perfect from top to bottom and our guests still can’t stop talking about the amazing the food and how beautiful the venue was. Do not sleep on this venue- it’s a diamond in the rough! This venue was everything we wanted and more. Kelly (the coordinator) was amazing, communication was excellent, she was so kind and really listened to us and what we wanted! We got so many compliments on the venue and everyone loved the fact that the banquet hall had a beautiful outdoor terrace as well! It’s really such a pretty spot, it photographed so well, and it had LOTS of spots to take photos too! The food was excellent and served in abundance. We recently had an event at the Smoke Rise Inn and it couldn’t have gone better! The staff was amazing, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I had some decorations that I needed set up. Usually I would find a friend or family member to help me but based on the timing of the event, no one was available prior. Kelly, the catering manager, had assured me that her and the staff would get it all completed for us. I was a little nervous, just because there were a number of things I had planned to be set up, but WOW did they exceed expectations. Everything was perfect! It made me feel so relaxed during the event, which was truly such a great feeling. Kelly was so fantastic throughout the entire process.
